A large wheel providing power for much of Aeternis, it is necessary to visit it to open the gate leading to the grail. You need to disengage it to allow the cogs in the cathedral vestry to be moved, then re-engage it to open the door. If stopped, it also allows access to the lower level and the poison gas room.
