Shield grotto is one of the rooms in Aeternis.

A simple grotto, with the inner chamber isolated by a sin eater door. As you approach it, Vincent appears and asks to be heard out. Doing so harms nothing and if you agree with his innocence, he will ask for proof of his betrayer. That is Tallum and the proof is his note (Guy, Forgive Me) found in the court.
To open the door, you need to either waste the shoulder plate recovered in the clock area or feed the eater three wafers, bearing Tobias', Malik's, and Tallum's crests. These can be made using flour in the kitchen.
