Poison gas room is one of the rooms in Aeternis.

This strange room seems to have been used for executions or as a morgue. A mummified body is located on the wall, bearing a strange ring. The room itself is filled with poisonous gas, which crept down here after the purge of Malik's court and was never neutralized.
There is a large fireplace next to the room, which seemed to be used as a crematorium for dead bodies. It is one of the backup exits from Aeternis.

This small, circular room can only be accessed after using either the brooch from the Cathedral vestry on the pillar outside or by breaking the pillar down with the zombie theo from Malik's lab outside. Then, to clear the poison gas from the room, open the small aperture at the bottom of the door, to let it slowly seep out through the drain. Don't open the door, as a faceful of gas is a bad way to go. The room exits into the light room or the chimney, accessible after getting the grail.
