Lincoln first became aware of the plunderer trade while working in the buying department of an exclusive artefacts shop on London's Bond Street. It didn't take him long to see the earning potential in 'artefact acquisition'as it was called by the company's more genteel clients, and he quickly decided on a career change. He has never looked back.[1]
A qualified pilot and Olympic Oarsman, his obsessive fitness and an ability to remain cool under pressure have brought him rapidly to the forefront of his new trade. Intelligent and methodical, Lincoln has constructed an efficient network of paid informants within the archaeological and artefact fraternity. These individuals, while often in senior positions of trust and confidence, nevertheless him well informed about choice pickings allowed the world.[1]
His retail experience has provided innumerable contacts among those who merchandise and distribute artefacts, many of them influential people whose interests are expressed in a wide variety of business activities. He lives in Kassel, Germany with his girlfriend, Greta. They have lived together for three years, and have a four year old son, Karl Wilhelm.[1]
Lincoln also supports his recently widowed English mother. His frequent visits to the family home in London's Chelsea often mask the real purpose of his travels which is to pursue contacts in the many London clubs of which he is a member.[1]
Lincoln has a violent record, and all MS-2 units register him as a potential threat, advising caution.[2]

- Lincoln is encountered in the mine maze on the upper level of Aeternis. You get the drop on him, as the area is only accessible through a floor collapse in the washroom. There is no possibility to circumvent Lincoln, as he is permanently hostile and will shoot you the moment he realizes you're creeping up on him.
