Entry 783 June - Year of our Lord 1307 AD. Tragic news arrived today - The Templar Order in every corner of Europe is under the vilest attack from the combined forces of Pope Clement V and King Philip of France! False confessions of depraved, immoral activities have been obtained by torture, and our Master fears the order may fall. Templar property is being seized throughout Christendom and our brothers are being imprisoned en masse.We here are all shocked and aggrieved. We believed the Templar order would evolve and survive to march into New Jerusalem led by our one Lord. But the forces of darkness never raged against us so strongly. May this Janus pope and his regal lapdog suffer an eternity of horrors in the hereafter for their treachery. The news however is not entirely black. Twelve ships will soon slip away from the port of La Rochelle bound for Scotland. Two of these ships, carrying sensitive documents and final supplies, will harbour here with us and unload. The remaining ships, carrying a vast wealth of treasure, will sail on to Strathclyde. There, our Templar brothers will attempt to infiltrate the order of Scottish Freemasons. The phoenix may yet arise from the Ashes to cast its purifying fire upon all Rome.
