Entry 1205
February, Year of our Lord 1658 AD.
Malik and his rebels continue to flout my authority. He has secured an isolated Byzantine area. It has been heavily fortified. He had the severity to name this stronghold "Malik's Court". Strange noises and drunken yelling can be heard from the area.
I suspect the rebels may have revived some of the Byzantine religion's sacrificial cerimonies. Several servants have vanished - 6 in the last 3 months! The only other explanation might be the appetite of Theos, but if so, why there are no carcasses or ghosts? The fact that they were last seen near Malik's area seems to confirm my fears.
